In this weeks Gospel we learn that Jesus could eat fish and that he wasn’t a ghost. So what are ghosts and what does the Church have to say about them?
While the Church doesn’t say too much about ghosts and hauntings, clearly the Church acknowledges there is a spiritual world; that spirits, angels and demons do exist and that they are sometimes made manifest in our own space and time. The Bible – the divinely inspired word of God written in a human hand – mentions good and bad spirits, as well as the mission of Angels to carry messages.
