Our Parish SVP group have been working hard!

In the past year (April 2014 – March 2015) our parish St Vincent de Paul (SVP) group have made 358 home visits to the elderly of the local area. Furthermore, they have made 1,850 visits to the sick and elderly in a residential or nursing home setting. The SVP have taken their ministry to the hospital too, making an additional 81 hospital visits.

The SVP have also provided transport for those who have needed it, and have recorded 188 instances of transport provision.

Well done to those who work for the SVP and meet each week. Their hard work and dedication of putting their faith in action, has helped ensure that those who can no longer get to Mass or parish events, still feel very much connected to our parish community and are supported by our prayers and concern.
