This afternoon a group of our younger members met in the hall to design a few craft items for Christmas. Some of the results were quite inventive. Who knew that by sticking pins in to balls of woollen fibres you could make felt robins?
An evening with Mary
An evening of Marian devotion to end the Month of the Rosary.
Thursday 30th October, 7pm, St David and St Patrick Catholic Church.
The evening will start with a video presentation looking at Marian apparitions and theology. Then there will be chance for tea, coffee and some light bites, which will be followed by a candle-lit prayer service incorporating many Marian Prayers and devotions – including the Rosary.

Fr Liam has now returned from his retreat and Fr Owen is back from Fatima! We returned home to lots of emails and 27 ‘phone messages! Please do be patient while we try to get through them all and get back on top of things!

October – the Month of the Rosary
The month of October has traditionally been dedicated to praying the Rosary.
There are many useful websites which can help understand this prayer and how to pray it. A few of those sites are included below.
Instructions on how the Rosary are here. While the Wikipedia page can be found by clicking here. Pope Pius XII wrote an Encyclical on the Rosary and Pope John Paul II wrote an Apostolic Letter soon after he’d added the Mysteries of Light.
To Celebrate the Month of the Rosary, Fr Liam is going to conclude the month by leading the parish in an evening of Marian Devotion on Thursday 30th October at 7pm in the Church of St David and St Patrick.
Baby Memorial
Today in Haverfordwest a stone memorial and four trees were dedicated to the lives of 420 babies who were buried in unmarked graves.

The stillborn babies were born between 1928 and 1975 when it was common practice to take them from their mothers without any ritual. Now the babies will be permanently remembered at City Road Cemetery in Haverfordwest, where most of the babies were buried. The memorial is the culmination of years of campaigning by Pat James, crematorium assistant at Parc Gwyn in Narberth. The memorial was dedicated by the chaplains of Withybush Hospital, Canon Geoffrey Gwyther, Rev. Geoffrey Eynon and Fr Liam Bradley.
